Manufacturing of the Future

I worked with a team of engineers to create a scalable and modular next generation manufacturing line. My role on the project was to design and program an augmented reality system using my knowledge of UX, Visual Basic, and Boolean logic.

The system prompts the operator with assembly instructions through a projector overlaying the workstation. During the assembly process, the system senses completed assembly steps with an Xbox Kinect.

In my personal life my hobbies can be best described as world building and exploration. I write stories and music, create games, and build terrariums such as my project pictured below. I find my fulfillment in the way my experiences bring joy and self reflection to my audience. In this way UX brings my hobby to work.

I look forward to an opportunity to write the story of our users together.
